Hello everyone! For my first post since I've restarted my blog I decided to share some photos of what I wore to my graduation and prom along with gifts I've received. It's been about 10 days since I graduated and sent off applications and it feels so great. I'm finally able to relax and enjoy time out in the sun after 3 stressful months of exam preparations. I'm going away for the weekend to Rotterdam and in a week to Turkey so that's exciting (few blog posts will come up with pictures from these trips)
Since I am sharing the lovely gifts I got first, a week before my oral exams and graduation my mom treated me to this gorgeous Swarovski silver set. It comes with a pair of earrings, a necklace and she bought a matching bracelet to it. I never really wear jewellery as it annoys me but I've been trying to slowly get myself to wear them especially for special occasions. I love this set as it can be worn with anything that's simple or too fancy.
For my actual graduation day, my mom kind of bought me gifts I totally expected from her. For some reason she thinks I will need both a silver and a rose gold set of jewellery and that "it will come in handy". Not complaining though because the rose gold set is so gorgeous and I cannot wait to wear it because I mostly wear silver. The bracelet is my favorite because it's just so dainty and elegant.
I have a rose gold Michael Kors watch that I got for my birthday two years ago that I've honestly barely worn because it's sort of too much for everyday wear (for me personally). I prefer smaller and simpler watches like Daniel Wellington. As per usual, my mom thinks I will need a silver one in my life and got me this beautiful watch from Michael Kors which I can see myself reaching out to more because it's smaller.
This what I wore to my graduation and what I did to my face and hair. I wore this black jumpsuit from YAS/Zalando with the silver set from Swarovski and paired the jumpsuit with silver heels.
My favorite part of the day was honestly getting to wear this gorgeous dress to prom. No picture does it justice to how beautiful it looks in reality including all its details. I felt like an absolute princess wearing it and felt like I could walk up a red carpet with it. I got so many compliments including from my teachers (my favorite was from my English teacher who asked if I'm secretly a princess from some other country). Creds to my sister as well for my doing my eyes as I suck at eyeshadow and she's just great at makeup. Unfortunately, I can't attach a link to this dress because I purchased it from a shop in Turkey about 4 months ago.
